Jim Knudsen Broker/Owner

Jim has been the owner and broker of Missouri River Realty since its founding in 1993. Before establishing the brokerage, he began his real estate career with BH Ulrich Realty in 1986. With nearly four decades of experience, Jim has built a reputation as one of Montana's trusted real estate professionals, specializing in ranch, farm, recreational, commercial, and residential properties.

Raised in Malta, Montana, Jim developed an entrepreneurial spirit early in life, operating his own ice distribution business throughout high school and college. After attending Montana State University–Northern, he returned home to help grow the family business, the Edgewater Inn, into the successful operation it is today.

In addition to real estate, Jim has owned and managed multiple businesses over the years and currently operates a working ranch alongside his wife, Janice, and his parents, Lee and Shirley. His firsthand knowledge of agriculture, ranching, and rural Montana gives him unique insight into the properties he represents.

Above all, Jim is a devoted family man. He and Janice are proud parents of their son, Casey, who is married to Megan, and their daughter, Bobbi, who is married to Chance. They also cherish spending time with their grandchildren, Callan and Mya, who keep the family active and connected. Family has always been at the heart of Jim's life and continues to shape the values of honesty, hard work, and dedication that he brings to every client relationship.

As a full-time broker and owner, Jim leads a team of eight experienced brokers and agents, each bringing expertise across a variety of real estate specialties. For more than 30 years, he has built Missouri River Realty on a foundation of integrity, professionalism, and personalized service. Jim is committed to creating win-win outcomes for both buyers and sellers, helping clients navigate every transaction with confidence.

Jim also has extensive experience facilitating 1031 exchanges, providing knowledgeable guidance to investors looking to defer capital gains taxes while expanding or repositioning their real estate portfolios.

Deborah L. Henry Broker

Deb has been a Broker with Missouri River Realty for over 20 years. She works with Residential, Commercial, Small Acreage and Recreational properties, as well as being a Property Manager and a member of the Montana Landlords Association. Deb was born in Glasgow, Montana and has lived in the surrounding area all her life. She is married, has 2 children and is a grandmother of 5 beautiful grandchildren. She enjoys spending time in the outdoors camping and fishing. She’s also a certified yoga instructor and has taught Yoga classes along with aerobics and strength classes. She finds spending time with her family and following her Grandchildren’s activities especially enjoyable. Deb looks forward to going to work every day. Living in a small town has its benefits, She is very blessed, loves what she does and loves where she lives!

Jarrell Schock Broker

Jarrell Schock has been a Real Estate Broker with Missouri River Realty for over 20 years. Jarrell specializes in Farm and Ranch real estate, recreational properties, and 1031 exchanges and can help you with all of your Real Estate needs. Whether you are buying, selling, or looking to exchange properties, he can work with you to help you meet your goals. Jarrell grew up on a farm and ranch near the small town of Vida in Northeast Montana and understands the business of agriculture. After high school he worked in sales for ConAgra-West Feeds in Billings, Mt. He later returned home to work with his father on the family farm and manage a tire and repair shop in Wolf Point for the local farm coop. Jarrell is married and has 2 children and 1 grandchild. In 1987 Jarrell purchased the family farm and ranch from his parents and continued to work for the local coop until 1995. In January 2000 Jarrell opened an office in Circle, Montana selling insurance and real estate. In 2008 he sold his office in Circle and moved to Fort Peck, Montana. Jarrell is now a full-time real estate agent, real estate investor, and business owner. Jarrell enjoys fishing, travel, and motorsports.

Dennis Bebee Sales Associate

Dennis has been a real estate salesperson with Missouri River Realty for over 20 years. He works with farm, ranch, recreation, and commercial properties. Dennis worked as a lineman for the Great Northern Railroad and Montana Bell. He purchased a farm in Malta with his brother, which he operated until just a few years ago. Dennis has built several homes in the Malta area, and has been involved with several 1031 exchanges. Dennis is a full time real estate agent and real estate investor. Dennis and his wife have 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and he enjoys following local sports, building street rod race cars, and travelling.

Don Elletson Sales Associate

Don Elletson is a native of northeast Montana who loves the prairie and boasts to be a “Flatlander”. Much of his work history is in sales ranging from RV sales, trailer sales, beer sales, before he became licensed to sell Real Estate in 1983. He joined Missouri River Realty in 2006. Don worked in housing construction, and he has previously owned several businesses. He enjoys helping with the haying and branding on their family farm. Don is a family man and he and his wife enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. They especially love attending youth sports and other activities. He has spent many years coaching youth sports. His other hobbies are hunting, fishing, remodeling and traveling.

Casey J. Knudsen Sales Associate

Casey Knudsen is a lifelong eastern Montana resident, born and raised in Malta. He graduated from Montana State University in 2014 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a minor in Aerospace Design before returning home to work on the family ranch and businesses.

Casey works alongside his wife, Megan, his parents, Jim and Janice, his sister and her husband, Bobbi and Chance, and his grandparents, Lee and Shirley. His hands-on experience in agriculture and ranching provides valuable insight for clients buying and selling Montana farms, ranches, recreational properties, and rural real estate.

In addition to real estate and ranching, Casey served four terms in the Montana Legislature, representing communities from Havre to Glasgow and the Highway 2 corridor to the Canadian border.

Casey and his wife, Megan, are raising their two children, Callan and Mya, in Malta, where they enjoy spending time outdoors with their dogs, Shep and Molly. His deep Montana roots, strong work ethic, and commitment to his community make him a trusted resource for clients across the state.

showcasing homes at their best. She also owns and operates a seasonal kayak and paddleboard rental
business, further reflecting her entrepreneurial spirit and connection to the local lifestyle.
